The last 48 hours have been some of the most exciting in music in recent memory. First, Meg Thee Stallion Beyonce for the “Savage” remix. Then, Drake announced that he would be dropping a new project featuring Fivio Foreign, Playboi Carti, Future and a few others. Now, YG is popping out with a new single called “Laugh Now, Kry Later.”
The West Coast first teased the project yesterday when posted a picture of himself riding in a lamborghini with the caption, “LAUGH NOW KRY LATER tomorrow 9PM west!” Never one to not come through on his promise, he is here to deliver new music.
“Laugh now, cry later, do yourself a favor/I’m in the Lambo’ slidin, this ain’t nothin’ major/Every day, straight faded, I don’t do chasin’/They just raided my house, they some f*ckin’ haters,” he raps over Pasqué, FranchiseDidIt and Iceberg’s production.
“Gon’ have a little fun, gon’ do it major/Gon’ pour a double shot, be a shot taker/Gon’ like a little bit before like take ya,” he adds.
