Vic Mensa, Joey Purp, G Herbo and Chance The Rapper have teamed up with Social Works to lead the Year of the Youth Peace Walk and Back to School Drive. All parties involved are working to provide families with school supplies, electronics and non perishable food items. They are also working to provide feminine care products, COVID-19 testing and hot meals.
“Please help make this unconventional start to the school year less stressful for families by providing them with some of the things they need to succeed,” Vic Mensa and the Save Money Life Foundation tweeted this week.
Earlier this week, Save Money Life Foundation posted a picture of the Chicago artist alongside Joey Purp as they delivered donations to various locations around the city. Right now, Chicago area residents can make in person donations at a variety of locations such as Jets Pizza, Homeslice, Advanced Spine and Sport Care and Fat Tiger Workshop. People around the world can also donate through Amazon.
