
Hailing from the DMV, YBN Cordae is ushering in a new wave of artists throughout the region. Alongside IDK and others, YBN Cordae helped pushed the region forward with the release of his debut studio album, The Lost Boy. Complete with fifteen tracks, Cordae tells the story of how he went from being a college dropout to a chart topping artist. Along the way, he links up with Chance The Rapper, Meek Mill, Pusha T and many more. One of the project’s standout collaborations was “R.N.P” featuring Anderson .Paak. Tonight, the duo came together to perform the album’s standout track.
Alongside background dancers, an eye popping set and much more, Anderson .Paak helped YBN Cordae make his 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards performance debut. The two went back and forth talking about how great it is to be young, rich and Black. Now, Cordae can add the BET Hip Hop Awards to his growing resume.
