On June 18th, fans, friends and family mourned the death of Jahseh “XXXTentacion” Onfroy. The 20 year-old musician was murdered this month as he was leaving a local motorcycle dealership. Current reports indicate that the South Florida native was robbed and then shot at point, blank range last Monday afternoon. In the days following the incident, local authorities arrested Dedrick Williams and charged him with murder and operating a vehicle without a license. Yesterday, local authorities named Robert Allen as the second person of interest in the ongoing investigation.
Away from the unfortunate incident, fans and musicians alike have showed an overwhelming amount of support for the family. Rapper and singer, Tory Lanez, honored the rising musician at a recent show. Music manager, Yes Julz, honored the fallen musician by organizing a community service event in his memory. Along with local community organizations and fellow entertainment figures, the event gave out over 1,000 free meals to local Liberty City residents. Yesterday, fans showed up by the boat load to honor the musician’s family and friends at his memorial service. Today, his team has come together to release what could be his last music video.
