Looks like there will be a Wreck-It Ralph 2 after all.
Following the release of the movie in 2012, it was unsure if a sequel would be happening.
However, according to Henry Jackman, who created the movie’s score, a sequel is currently in the early stages of development.
He told Collider, “I don’t know any more other than a story is indeed being written.” Jackman kept details light saying, “I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards.”
Wreck-It Ralph grossed $189 million in the U.S. and $281 million internationally.
The film featured the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch.
No word yet on if they will be featured in the sequel.
