Warner Bros. has unveiled the first official full-length trailer for their upcoming superhero film, Wonder Woman 1984.
“Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah,” Warner Bros. writes in the trailer’s description.
The new film serves as the follow-up to the 2017 film that Gal Gadot starred in. The initial film performed extremely well in the box office, earning $822 million worldwide.
This time around, director Patty Jenkins will resume her role. Jenkins will also produce the film alongside Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Stephen Jones. Joining Gadot, Robin Wright, Pedro Pascal, Chris Pine and Connie Nielsen will star in the film.
Wonder Woman 1984 will debut in theaters on October 2, 2020.
