Vin Diesel and company are already preparing for the release of the ninth Fast & Furious film later this week. However, the film’s star may be already looking forward to other films and spinoffs of the Fast & Furious franchise. In a recent interview, Vin Diesel hinted that Cardi B, who appears in F9, could star in future Fast & Furious films.
“We are very much excited to evolve her character and to expand it to the finale. She made it just in time. She came in Fast 9 just in time,” he said during an interview ET.
During her first appearance in the film franchise, the New York native left a good impression on director Daniel Lin. Following Vin Diesel, Lin spoke about Cardi B’s acting skills and potential.
“I love how when I got together with her, her and Vin were talking about the character because she’s actually really embedded into the overall universe, she’s been around for a long time and this is just the first time we are seeing her, so I’m really excited to explore that character of her,” Lin added.
Cardi B certainly has a future in Hollywood. In addition to starring in F9, she has also landed the lead role in Assisted Living.
