Last night, for the second time in a week and for the third time this season, the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder dueled. While Saturday’s game was an instant classic fueled by a fantastic Stephen Curry performance, the matchup on Thursday was one that Thunder fans may soon forget.
Despite yet another Golden State win, the Thunder did put up a fight for a majority of the game thanks to a stellar performance from Kevin Durant.
KD scored 32 points on 11-17 shooting for the Thunder while he also flirted with a triple-double grabbing 10 rebounds and handing out nine assists. KD’s stellar night had one blemish on it. The nine turnovers he committed on his own equaled the total of the entire Golden State Warriors team.
The Warriors willed their way to their 55th win of the season behind a solid night from Stephen Curry. While some might say Curry had an ‘off’ shooting night, he still scored 33 points, shot 12-25 from the field and 5-15 from three-point range. Must be nice to put up great numbers even during your ‘off’ days.
