The incident involving Indiana Pacers player Chris Copeland continues to get more and more strange and now, for the Atlanta Hawks, it has taken a turn for the worst.
While Copeland was a victim due to being attacked by a civilian, it appears that Hawks reserve defensive guard Thabo Sefolosha has suffered a broken ankle and will be out for the remainder of the season through the playoffs.
Following from Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Hawks say Thabo Sefolosha has a fractured fibula and ligament damage that will require surgery. He is out for rest of the season & playoffs.

From the Atlanta Hawks.
INJURY UPDATE: Thabo Sefolosha will miss the rest of the season, including the playoffs, after suffering leg injuries in New York yesterday.

The Hawks players involved were both Sefolosha and Atlanta’s reserve big man, Pero Antic. A video surfaced yesterday of Sefolosha and Antic in handcuffs being escorted by police. You could see a noticeable limp from Thabo along with his right ankle very heavily wrapped up.
Now the questions are going to come, ‘what’s going on with Atlanta?’ They’re going into the playoffs without Sefolosha, quite possibly their best perimeter defender, and Antic’s future is yet to be determined. They also have Paul Millsap who has suffered a shoulder injury and is currently missing time for the team with his future health up in the air.
How important is Sefolosha? Well, Mike Conti of 92.9 ‘The Game’ sheds some light on that.
#ATLHawks are 16-10 (.615) w/o Thabo this year, 43-9 (.827) with him. They have zero road wins vs .500+ opponents without him
