2016 NBA All-Star Weekend will go down as one of the best in recent memory and possibly the best of All-Time. From Friday all the way through Sunday, the festivities in Toronto excited fans and gave us some memorable moments. While there were stars aplenty participating in a number of events, there was one player who got all the focus throughout the weekend. Los Angeles Lakers retiring legend, Kobe Bryant.
The weekend in Toronto culminated on Sunday with the 2016 NBA All-Star Game which was essentially a big dedication to Bryant and his career. The event was so Kobe-centric that the TNT cameras missed a Stephen Curry half-court three-point shot towards the end of the game. For obvious reasons, all eyes were on Bryant including when three of his closest NBA friends hosted a farewell dinner in his honor.
Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade told stories, presented Kobe with gifts and even gave him a netflix subscription to celebrate the life and career of Kobe Bryant.
