Everyone loves a good trainwreck, right? Well, only if you’re not involved.
Many people spent their time and money for what was advertised to be VestiVille, a music festival taking place over the course of June 28 – June 30 in Belgium. Equipped with what looked to be a lineup with several diverse acts and talents; VestiVille is appearing to be Fyre Festival part two.
Taking place at Kristalpark in Northeast Belgium, complaints of VestiVille being an alleged scam has spread like wildfire on social media. With acts like Cardi B, Future, Meek Mill and more advertised as performers, festival-goers were met with much disappointment, dismay, and disorganization upon arrival.
A festival attendee tweeted a promo video, which can be seen below, which was reportedly posted by the company. The promo allegedly offered concert-goers luxury Villa options and amenities. Referred to a “VestiVillas,” the promo voiceover appears to mimic Cardi B.
From this video, this is what @VestiVille promised us, “luxury VIP villas” “private garden” “private beach” “room service” ?? sounds amazing right ? ??? pic.twitter.com/sHaqdjIV8U

A$AP Rocky, also on the lineup, issued a statement surrounding him not attending the festival. Furthermore and comedy all in itself, Jacquees actually made his way to the VestiVille festival grounds, unaware of the mess that was ensuing. Ironically enough, and as seen above, Ja Rule was also advertised as a VestiVille performer.

Putting out a “statement” via three tweets from their official Twitter account, which currently stands with 109 followers, the mayor of Lommel allegedly pulled the plug on letting VestiVille start. The VestiVille website is currently down and displays a “Maintenance Mode” message. The organization has stated that they are consulting with their official partners about issuing refunds.
Samantha M., who attended VestiVille Friday, shared her experience at the festival. “I had very high expectations going to the event,” she said. “We were promised a lot of things that did not happen, which was very disappointing.”
Customers were sent an email by VestiVille, stating the event was canceled. In addition, festival-goers were reportedly stranded for hours and “given water but no explanations.” Samantha says security were grabbing people and people tried to push past security.
