Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are back around with the second set of Verzuz battles. In season one, things kicked off with battles between Sean Garrett and The Dream, T-Pain and Lil’ John and Johnta Austin and Ne-Yo. In season two, things will get going with a down south showdown between T.I. and Jeezy.
T.I. leads the way in this entertaining battle. The Atlanta native has put in nearly 20 years of hard work in the industry. Currently, he’s the host of Expeditiously and the star of The L.I.B.R.A album. However, he’s best known for his rise in the early to mid-2000s. Within a decade, he delivered hits like “What You Know” and “Live Your Life” with Rihanna. Not to mention, he’s built his own label, starred in a number of TV shows and put together the cult classic, ATL.
Jeezy is equally accomplished. Today, he’s setting up to host his debut talk show on FOX Soul. Before he entered the world of television, he delivered classic projects like Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 and The Recession. In his 15-year-long career, he’s earned four GRAMMY nominations and won one BET Award.
The Atlanta battle will take place on November 19, 2020 at 8 p.m. Who ya got?
