This past weekend, Travis Scott returned to Miami, Florida for the latest iteration of Rolling Loud. While on stage, the Houston native shared some news regarding his upcoming album, Utopia. According to multiple reports, the Astroworld artist confirmed his new album will arrive on Friday, July 28 along with a film called Circus Maximus. Furthermore, he indicated that it would be “dropping in theaters” and debuted a new trailer to get fans excited.
The release of the film and LP will be celebrated with a live listening event in Egypt at the Great Pyramid of Giza. Despite pushback from authorities in the region, Live Nation confirmed that the live listening event will move forward on July 28, 2023 as scheduled.
“There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt,” a statement from Live Nation reads.
“Any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate Utopia with you in Egypt!”
While fans wait for the album to drop, Travis Scott has joined forces with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd for a single called “K-Pop.” At this time, there is no word as to whether or not it will appear on his project or the forthcoming project from his DJ, Chase B.
