After three years of waiting, Tory Lanez will reintroduce the Chixtape series with a fifth installment. This time around, Tory Lanez will release Chixtape V on November 15th.
In addition to dropping the release date, the Toronto native revealed the cover art for the new project. The Chixtape V cover features R&B singer Ashanti in a pink room using a sidekick.
As expected, the cover pays homage to the early 2000s era. Previously, Tory Lanez has been recorded in the studio with legendary R&B artists such as T-Pain. The two have been hard at work on an “I’m Sprung” remix. Also, Tory Lanez has publicly stated that he’s been working to clear an old Trey Songz record as well.

Making the release more special, Chixtape V will be the first project in the series to appear on streaming services. Given the number of samples on the project, it’s an accomplishment for the R&B singer to get the project on streaming services.
Moving forward, expect more surprises from Tory Lanez. Fans have also begged for a tour and merchandise in anticipation for the new project. Only time will tell. In the meantime, check out the Chixtape V cover.
