
Tig Notaro is reportedly set to board Apple TV+’s new series, The Morning Show. Notaro will appear in the role of Amanda Robinson, the chief of staff to corporate titan Paul Marks, throughout season three. Alongside Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm, she is the third high-profile addition to the prominent series in recent weeks. Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell and Karen Pittman are also expected to return for the show’s third chapter.
The Morning Show is one of Apple TV+’s most prominent scripted projects. Throughout season two, the team UBA dealt with the ups and downs of Alex’s departure and ultimate return while Daniel Henderson became fed up with his position and Mitch Kessler met an untimely demise. The show’s second go-around earned four Golden Globe Award nominations and Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
As for Notaro, this will mark her first foray into the world that is Apple TV+. She is also set to appear in Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas and Your Place or Mine. She also recently dropped an animated comedy special on HBO called Drawn.
