Harrison Ford has selected the next project to add to his legendary filmography. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ford has signed on to star in an untitled comedy from Ted Lasso producers Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein.
“[The series] centers a grieving therapist who begins to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes to people’s lives — including his own,” the potential series synopsis reads, according to THR.
Actor Jason Segel will play the lead role of the “grieving therapist” while Ford plays a character by the name of Dr. Phil Rhodes. Rhodes is described as an astute professional who is widely respected in the realm of cognitive behavioral therapy. However, he is beginning to experience the early stages of Parkinson’s disease. His protegés, Jimmy and Gaby, begin to force him out of his comfort zone for the first time as he deals with what is to come with this condition.
At this time, there is no word as to when this series will debut on Apple TV+.
