Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have announced a new addition to their Halloween Horror Nights this year.
The resorts will introduce a new scarezone called The Purge: Anarchy, based on Universal Pictures’ latest thriller.
The film is a sequel to last year’s The Purge, about an annual night in which the US government suspends laws and emergency services that citizens are free to commit any crime they wish.
The sequel Anarchy sees a group of five citizens forced to find out just how far they are willing to go to protect themselves, and each other, during the annual night of lawlessness.
The theme park scarezone will see the area inhabited by actors playing average citizens who turn into sadistic criminals during the annual night of lawlessness.
Guests will be forced to use their wits and be able to run fast in order to outsmart and escape the chaos of the terrifying night, with specially trained actors hired to create as authentically scary an experience as possible.
