
Netflix is embarking on a string of major releases that will pave the way for their end of the year presence. Netflix has already dropped the second season of On My Block and they’re nearing in on the release of the final season of Jessica Jones. In addition, the streaming platform is gearing up for the release of Ava DuVernay’s limited series about The Central Park Five. One of the many series that is expected to return this year is Dear White People. While the series has yet to receive a return date, one of the show’s biggest stars is already planning her return with a new horror film.
Logan Browning will return to Netflix in a new horror film called The Perfection. The Dear White People star will appear alongside Allison Williams in the Netflix exclusive. According to the streaming platform, the film is about “a troubled musical prodigy (Allison Williams) who seeks out the new star pupil of her former school (Logan Browning) with shocking consequences.”
When asked about the film, Allison Williams told Entertainment Weekly, “If you were to stop the movie every 20 minutes and be asked what it’s about or what you think is going to happen, you’d be wrong — until the movie’s over.”
The Perfection will drop just in time for Memorial Day Weekend on May 24th. In the meantime, check out the trailer for this insane horror story.
