Fans have been clamoring for a full-length trailer for some time now. The first teaser was released late last year but there’s been very little marketing since. Unfortunately, this trailer seems to be different from the footage shown last week at CinemaCon. I say unfortunately because that trailer reportedly featured much more of the voice cast than the one released on Wednesday.
It was by no means a bad trailer though as we once again get to experience James Earl Jones’ as Mufasa. There’s also a heavy emphasis in this trailer on Scar and his Hyeena lackeys but sadly, no songs yet. There are multiple shots teasing some of the best musical moments from the original and all I can say is, July 19th can’t get here fast enough.
