Netflix has a major weekend coming up with the release of Dear White People‘s third season. However, they’re not stopping there. Before the weekend gets into full gear, the streaming platform has decided to drop a new teaser for the highly anticipated Martin Scorsese film, The Irishman.
The upcoming Scorsese film tells the story of a union labor man who was also an alleged hit-man for the Buffalino Crime Family. Led by Robert De Niro, the film also stars Joe Pesci, Anna Paquin and Bobby Cannavale. Ray Romano, Sebastian Maniscalco and Harvey Keitel will also appear in the film.
Excited for the release of the film, De Niro said, “I’m excited to see it and to share it after all this time working on it.”
The film was originally announced in 2008, but has taken its time getting things right for viewers. Scorsese’s latest project is expected to premiere at the 2019 New York Film Festival. In addition, it will be available in select theaters later this summer. Not to mention, the film will also appear on Netflix later this summer. In the meantime, check out the latest teaser for The Irishman.
