The specific details of the contract have not been released yet. But, it’s important to note that this deal is the largest single-season contract in Chinese history.
(UPDATE 7/31/17) Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Terrence Jones’ deal is worth $2 million.

Jones has had a rough stretch the past few years. In April he was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks and has floated around free agency since his departure from Wisconsin. Ultimately, he decided it was time to move on from the NBA and sign a one-year contract overseas.
Last year the Qingdao Eagles had a record of 16-22 and finished 12th in the Chinese Basketball Association. Obviously Jones was brought in to bring a few more wins to the struggling Eagles core. Hopefully the Eagles’ new addition will bump them up to at least the eighth seed, that way they can compete in the playoffs.
Terrence Jones will likely start for the Eagles and it will be fun to see if an NBA team signs him before the playoffs begin.
Jones’s per game averages from the 2016-17 season was 10.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and one block.
