There is no denying the anticipation and expectations for the upcoming sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows are high. New comer to the franchise Stephen Amell, our Green Arrow hero, who will be taking on the role of vigilante Casey Jones, took to his Facebook to unleash the teaser trailer. From the few seconds we saw, you can already see this follow up to the box office hit, the first TMNT which raked in $485 Million world wide, action certainly will be way more intense this time around.
There were a lot of mixed reviews the first go around which was more so aimed at the overall appeal of the turtles but in my opinion it didn’t bother me. As well as the story line many were disappointed but you can tell the original story was used as an influence and tweaked a little to fit modern times.
With now having the official trailer for part two, ‘Out of the Shadows’ is just that. It appears the secret of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael is no more, hence the title of the movie. Or on the other hand there could be a more deeper plot that leads towards to the title but that remains to be seen.
Megan Fox along with Will Arnett and William Fictner reprise their lead roles while new comers outside of Amell include WWE’s Sheamus as Rocksteady and his partner Bebop will be played by Gary Anthony Williams.
The rest of the cast of course is the turtles played by Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo, Johnny Knoxville as the voice), and Noel Fisher (Michelangelo). Lastly we can’t forget the evil Shredder played by Brian Tee.
