Celebrating his 40th birthday, T.I. has announced the release of his next album, The Libra. The title functions as an acronym for The Real Legend Is Back Running Atlanta.
His album announcement was accompanied by the premiere of the “Ring” video with Young Thug. Shown in Times Square on Friday, the video featuring himself, Young Thug and Gunna.
The Libra is his first album since 2018’s Dime Trap.The 2018 project debuted at 13 on the Billboard 200 chart with features from Meek Mill, Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Young Thug and more. It also showcased production from Swizz Beatz, David Banner, Scott Storch and others.
His 2020 project will mark his 11th album release in 19 years. Thus far, he has not shared a release date or tracklist. However, fans can expect to see “Ring” on the project as well as the track he previewed towards the end of the video. Stay tuned for more details regarding The Libra.
