If you haven’t stumbled upon a bunch of videos with people making their own renditions of the controversial new record from Beyonce, ‘Formation’, then you aren’t utilizing social media or the world wide web properly. While making my daily rounds throughout Facebook I stumbled across this video of The Starrkeisha Choir adding a gospel remix to Queen Bey’s ‘Formation’ . What makes this remix so noteworthy is that they incorporated the classic ‘Sister Act’ song, “I will follow him”. With an effortless transition the Starrkeisha Choir go from “I Will Follow Him” to “Formation” starting with, “my daddy Alabama..” and they don’t miss a beat whatsoever.
