Some of the best and brightest stars from the Music City will take the stage at the National Museum of African-American Music this February. Kicking off Black History Month, Slim + Husky’s has partnered with the National Museum of African-American Music to host the inaugural “Unplugged” showcase. Beginning at 7 p.m. CST, several talented acts from the greater Nashville area including Brian Brown and Reaux Marquez will take the stage.
“This event is a Live Music Series Showcasing Rising Artist within Nashville, TN. Unlike most major showcases in downtown Nashville, Slim + Husky’s is focusing a light on the ‘next up’ when it comes to Hip Hop, R&B, and alternative sounds of Black Musicians within Music City,” Slim + Husky’s stated.
“Come enjoy a networking and entertainment experience filled with young professionals, music heads, entrepreneurs and executives as Slim + Husky’s takes over the National Museum of African American Music. This event will also take place inside of the Museum Exhibits allowing attendees a first hand look at Nashville’s newest historic attraction. Make sure to arrive early to enjoy complimentary pizza during our cocktail hour experience in the NMAAM lobby with full bar & DJ as beverages will not be allowed inside of exhibit walls.”
