West coast artist Skrizzy delivers his latest song titled “SZN.”
Formerly known as Young Scrap, Skrizzy, turns up the energy on his latest song “SZN.” The song follows up his previous effort, “A Side Niggas Fantasy,” an installment in his musical series Music We Can Fuck To.
On the track, Skrizzy reflects on his battle with cancer and champions himself victorious after losing his voice for 90 days. He also boasts about model bitches and an established crew that plays no games. “SZN” brings the energy and raps effortlessly over the bass-infused track, channeling Three 6 Mafia on the hook.
“This record is special to me because it was the first song I recorded after my battle with vocal cord paralysis as a result of cancer. My manager at the time said to me ‘you haven’t used your voice for a significant amount of time so it may take a while to get back in the swing of things.’ I took it as a personal challenge and this was the outcome. This is my season (SZN), my space, and my time.” says Skrizzy in the provided statement.
