Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz are the duo that we never knew we needed. Over the last few months, the Baltimore native and Canadian producer have connected to release “Doctors” and “Good Evening.” For their first two collaborations, the duo worked alone. Now, they’re pulling in Trippie Redd for their newest single, “Love.”
Led by directors CatchRec and Jermaine Prime, Shordie Shordie, Trippie Redd and Murda Beatz provide the musical selection for a wedding. Keeping with the theme of matrimony, the newly formed wedding band performs “Love.” With Murda Beatz on the drums, Shordie Shordie behind the microphone and Trippie Redd floating through the crowd, the trio sings about heartbreak as they try to get their significant other to forgive them.
“Why don’t we make L-O-V-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E?/Why don’t we just fuck and make up?/Know what you like, everybody good/No point in f*cking it up,” Shordie Shordie sings.
“Love” is the latest in what appears to be an extended rollout for an upcoming joint project from Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz. Check out “Love” and be on the lookout for more new music from the two.
