Time and time again, Megan Thee Stallion has delivered show-stopping visuals. From the success of “W.A.P” to the time she took over a U.S. Senator’s office in the “Thot Sh*t” video, she’s always found a way to push boundaries while still being her authentic self. When the world learned that she’d be teaming up Shenseea for the “Lick” video, expectations were high. This weekend, the duo delivered the highly-anticipated, final product.
Shenseea and Megan Thee Stallion came together to push an ice cream truck in the “Lick” video, but their truck has a bit more than vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The duo plays with the imagery of ice pops, icicles and more before the Houston native steals the show with her guest verse.
“He a seat, barely ever heard the n*gga speak/I don’t give a f*ck if me and your mama never meet/I’m rude, I don’t give a f*ck about dudes/You must be the sh*t if I really claim you,” she raps.
“Lick” sets the stage for Shenseea’s debut LP, Alpha. The project, which is due March 11, will also include “Work” with Pupa Nas T and Denise Belfon.
