For Sheck Wes, the past few months outside of music just may have been rocky. Without being named, many linked the rapper to the alleged abuse that Justine Skye spoke about in the final months of 2018. Fast forward to present day, we reported the news of Justine Skye finally confirming the suspicions of Sheck Wes being her abuser via her Twitter, which also relayed that Sheck was responsible for her now boyfriend, GoldLink, and their friends being jumped.
As expected, the “Mo Bamba” rapper broke his silence and has also taken to Twitter to make a statement. The rapper claims that he did not jump anyone and that he has never hit a woman.
I’ve chosen to remain silent until now out of respect for actual victims of abuse. But I cannot stand by while lies are repeatedly told about me.
I never hit or beat any women and I did not beat up or jump anybody.

As of now, there is no word on if Justine Skye will move forward with pressing any charges. For now, it appears that the singer is just making sure her voice is heard. Channeling the unfortunate experiences through her art, the singer’s “Build” visual gives a glimpse at what the star went through.
