Shakur Stevenson is openly supporting the members of his training camp. This past weekend, he went to Oklahoma and watched Keyshawn Davis pick up the ninth pro victory of his young career. Next week, he will be in Las Vegas to watch Terence Crawford fight Errol Spence Jr. for the undisputed welterweight title. Ahead of the big fight, Stevenson told ESPN who he believes will walk away with the win on Saturday, July 29.
“I think it’s gonna be a hell of a fight. I’m rocking with my brother (Crawford) forever. I’ve never really seen [anybody] work harder than Terence Crawford. I don’t know [anybody] on the planet that works harder than Terence Crawford,” Stevenson said.
“I can’t imagine Terence Crawford losing, so I’m definitely rocking with my brother, and I definitely, 100 percent believe he’s gonna win, and it’s not just because that’s my brother.”
Stevenson is not counting Errol Spence Jr. out, but he does believe that Crawford’s competitive nature will play a role in this weekend’s main event.
“(Crawford is) competitive in every aspect. Not just boxing, he’s competitive in every single thing that he does,” Stevenson continued.
“Errol is gonna come hard and come and fight for sure, but I just think it’s Terence Craword’s moment.”
