Unified strawweight champion Seniesa Estrada is reportedly set to return to the ring in July. According to a report from Michael Rothstein of ESPN, the 30-year-old belt holder is scheduled to fight on July 22, 2023 in an ESPN-televised event, but no opponent has been determined as of now.
Estrada currently holds a pro record of 24-0 with nine knockouts. After spending much of her early career with Golden Boy Promotions, she signed a deal with Top Rank in late 2022. Since then, she has managed to score unanimous decision wins against Jazmin Gala Villarino and Tina Rupprecht on ESPN.
After her most recent victory in March, she issued a challenge to fellow strawweight champion, Yokasta Valle.
“I want to tell the other champion at 105 pounds that I’m whupping you next,” Estrada said, according to ESPN.
“You can get it next. I am the best in this division, and I know it. I want to prove it by being undisputed.”
At this time, it is unclear if Valle will be her next opponent.
