The film stars Palmer, Cory Hardict, and Quincy Brown in a love story about a basketball star Sergio Taylor [Eric D. Hill Jr.] who is struggling to deal with the early pressures of fame.
His older brother June [Hardict], who gave up his hoop dreams to work the streets to provide for the family after their father’s death, and his sister Jackie [Palmer], whose own musical ambitions are put to the side because of love, play a role in Sergio’s life as he faces life-changing decisions on the Philly streets.
The film also stars Romeo Miller, Macy Gray, Malik Yoba, Jay Lewis, Logan Browning, Faizon Love and Teyana Taylor.
Queen Latifah’s production company, Flavor Unit Entertainment, will be producing the film.
