Roddy Ricch elevated to a new level when he released his debut album, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. While the California native prepared fans for the album’s release with songs like “Start Wit Me” and “Tip Toe” featuring A Boogie, the album’s success was propelled by “The Box.” Not only did it hit number one, but it was also followed by “High Fashion” with DJ Mustard and a string of features from Roddy Ricch. In a matter of months, Roddy Ricch went from being a promising young artist to a hitmaker with multiple Grammy nominations.
After earning success with his first album, Roddy Ricch faded to the background and let anticipation build for his follow up. Things kicked off with the release of “Late Night” and he has followed through with the release of his sophomore album, Live Life Fast. Roddy Ricch’s newest project comes with a number of guest appearances from Future, Kodak Black, Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla $ign, Gunna, Fivio Foreign, Takeoff, Alex Isley and Bibi Bourelly. He has also enlisted an all-star team of producers that includes TM88, Wheezy, Mustard, Boi-1da, Kenny Beats and Cardo.
“With my next project, I’m going to be more vulnerable,” Roddy Ricch explained to Complex.
“I’m going to bring fans into my world more. I’m learning the balance. Like, OK, I’m not on Instagram, so I feel like I’ve got to bring them into my life more so they can feel me a little more.”
