Rochelle Jordan is back and she’s here to say.
On Friday, September 26, 2025, the British-Canadian singer shared her new album, Through The Wall. The one-hour record runs through the gamut of her musical influences, blending tones of 90s R&B, gospel, garage, house, and funk to create a color that fits her. Being her second album since she returned to the forefront in 2021, Through The Wall feels a lot like a declaration of the artist she wishes to be at this stage in her life and a celebration of what she is to become. Bringing those two sentiments together, Through The Wall is fun, vibrant, and free in every sense.
“Through The Wall is a dedication to God and myself for the journey I’ve been on, a celebration of the artist I’ve become. Empowered and ready for all the good things to come, I believe these feelings are projected into this album,” she said about Through The Wall. “I’ve always been an optimistic artist, and taking the indie route was a choice rooted in trusting my vision and not allowing myself to be swayed by outside sources. It wasn’t easy. Over the years, there were so many walls placed in front of me that felt impossible to break, not just the ones that blocked me from attaining certain things as quickly as I hoped, but also the walls I created in my own mind. Yet I kept breaking them. And this album feels like I’ve finally broken through that last wall.”
