
For more than a decade, the world has acknowledged Rihanna as one of the greatest entertainers in the world. Tonight, her performance at State Farm Stadium during Super Bowl LVII was a clear reminder of just how talented she is.
LeBron James, SZA and Cardi B were just a few of the viewers around the world to share their approval of the singer’s highly-anticipated set. Not to mention, SZA called her performance “inspiring” and XX described it as ” .” It’s safe to say that Rihanna earned an A+ with this 12-minute set.
“Rihanna has so many hits,” Russ tweeted.
“Rihanna has so many bangers,” Quinn XCII added.
“The song order Rihanna put together is iconic,” Plies chimed in.
What more could you want from Rihanna after watching her perform at Super Bowl LVII? Well, it turns out that her fans want a lot more from her moving forward. After giving the world a number of memorable projects, members of Rihanna’s Navy are eager to hear new music from the legendary act. Despite what fans may want, Rihanna has done her best to keep the expectations of her listeners within reason.
“[The] Super Bowl is one thing, but new music another thing. Do you hear that fans? The second that I announced [that I would be performing at the Super Bowl], I said, ‘They’re going to think my album is coming. I need to get to work.’ I do have new music coming out. We’ll see. [It’s] unrelated,” she said in November.
Rihanna may or may not be releasing a full-length album in the near future, but she has been somewhat active over the last few years. She appeared on PARTYNEXTDOOR’s last LP and contributed to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
Time will only tell regarding her future in music. For the time being, the world will enjoy her performances when come.
