At this point in her career, it seems just as if Rihanna has had her hands in a little bit of everything. From music, perfume, clothing, film, and so much more, there doesn’t seem to be any platform that the Barbadian singer hasn’t touched. Working its way on being almost 3 years since the release of her previous studio album, Unapologetic, fans are focusing their attention on Rihanna’s 8th studio album, Anti, while Rihanna looks to be diverting her attention to more than one venture. Taking to Instagram, film director Luc Besson announced that Rihanna will be apart of the upcoming film, “Valerian.”

Starring in the animated film, “Home,” just earlier this year, perhaps Rihanna has caught the acting bug and wants to further expand in the acting world. As “Valerian” will be based off the comic version, it’ll be interesting to see where Rihanna will fit in regards to the space empire and time travel. Due in theaters in 2017, shooting from the film will start in the near future.
