Today it had been announced officially that the superstar pop singer, Rihanna is the new face of PUMA as their Creative Director. Also it is worth to mention that she is also going to be PUMAs global brand ambassador.
Everyone that has followed her career over the years should know when you think of Rihanna that she not only puts her efforts into her music but her fashion as well, dare I say a trendsetter? I think so.
The announcement is a power move on both parties behalf. Monday, Rihanna flew all the way to Puma’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, for her creative session with the design team. This session involved Rihanna getting her feet wet and hands dirty (figuratively speaking) with working towards the future of the brand.
According to Women’s Wear Daily the specifics of the partnership is as mentioned;
As part of a multi-year partnership with the activewear firm, Rihanna is to take a hands-on approach with Puma’s fitness and training line, including apparel as well as shoes.
The singer “will work with Puma to design and customize classic Puma styles as well as create new styles to add to the Puma product portfolio,” the company said on Tuesday.
