Fans have been clamoring for Rihanna to return to the world of music following the release of her critically-acclaimed album, ANTI. Since then, she’s built Fenty into a beauty and fashion empire and given birth to her first child. Five years later, it appears that she’s ready to get back on stage. Hits Daily Double has reported that Rihanna is planning to embark on a stadium tour in 2023.
Rihanna has not shared any new music with the world for some time now, but a stadium tour does not seem out of the realm of possibility. For well over a year, reports have suggested that the chart-topping act has been hosting writing camps and putting together new tracks. More recently, the NFL announced that she would be performing at Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show in February.
“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter said as the news was announced.
Not only will Rihanna embark on a stadium tour in 2023, but Hits Daily Double has also announced that Beyoncé and Adele will head out on tour next year as well. Following a summer that broke records with The Weeknd and Bad Bunny, 2023 could take things to a new level.
