The sequel to Prometheus is coming out and although the trailer doesn’t tell us much about the story line, the indication is that Ridley Scott’s sequel ‘Alien: Covenant’ will clear some missing plot details that need to be filled in. As some of our readers may know, the Alien franchise was one that Scott started back in the 70’s and are certified classics on behalf of ‘retro’ movie watchers everywhere.
Covenant has gathered a stacked cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Billy Crudup, James Franco, and Katherine Waterston and if the trailer doesn’t freak you out, I don’t know what will.
The movie follows a crew that attempts to colonise a planet after Earth becomes inhabitable and once they arrive it seems as if their prayers have been answered, until they find out the planet is already inhabited. You can catch this movie in theatres this spring on May 18th.
