Rick Ross has announced plans to start his own podcast. The “Big Tyme” rapper took to Instagram on July 15 to share his next venture.
“I woke up and had a beautiful idea, a boss idea,” Ross began.
“I’m going to start a podcast, dead ass serious. And guess what? I want you all to help me name my podcast.”
He then provides motivation for listeners to help him come up with his podcast’s title.
“If I decide to use your name, I’ll bless you with the holy trinity. I’m going to make sure you get a Belaire bottle. I’m going to make sure you get a Villon bottle and make sure you get a Bumbu bottle. And of course, a McQueen and the Violet Frog bottle. Big business opportunity for you,” he said.
His idea for the podcast occurred shortly after Gillie Da Kid mocked him for purchasing cows during a recent episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game.
“These old n*ggas…they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more. They still think the world gon’ come back, so they are on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb sh*t,” Gillie said while speaking to his guest, Southside.
“‘I just bought a cow and all this dumb. You know I was gonna bake you n*gga. I [saw] you in them comments n*gga. You knew I was gonna bake your goofy a**.”
Gillie Da Kid has since caught wind of Ross launching a podcast and even suggested an improbable title, Lock It Up Podcast W/ Rick Ross. He took to Instagram with an old photo of Ross as a correctional officer and added, “I got [a] name [for your] podcast [Rick Ross] aka The Mickey Mouse Show. [Your] history ain’t right to f*ck with me. [You] better leave that alone.”
