Report: Dwight Howard could play tonight against Knicks
The Houston Rockets just might have Dwight Howard back tonight against the New York Knicks. Howard has been out the last two games due to having plasma therapy on his right knee. In Howard’s absence Houston took a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and defeated the Dallas Mavericks.
The Rockets had no set timetable of Howard’s return, but according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, there’s a chance he’s back tonight against the Knicks:
Houston’s Dwight Howard is a “potential go,” against New York tonight, league source tells Yahoo. He’s missed two games with a knee strain.

Houston is 10-3 and found strong efforts from Tarik Black and Joey Dorsey without Howard in the line up. Their win against their in-state rival Dallas on Saturday was an early statement win, again, without Howard in the line up. Houston is among several teams vying for elite contention in the conference. They’ll continue that effort with more conviction upon Howard’s return.
