Throughout the year, artists have bombarded fans with album after album. This year, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Eminem, J. Cole, Nas, Kanye West and Drake have dropped albums. Not to mention, up and coming acts like Lil’ Baby and Gunna have dropped multiple projects in the span of twelve months. Before the year ends, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, A Boogie and Ice Cube will also drop new projects. In short, there has been a lot of music released this year and it’s hard to keep up with everything from week to week. One of the many projects you may have missed this year is from Reason.
This fall, T.D.E’s newest addition, Reason, dropped his first project with his new team. The twelve project called There You Have It tells the story of how the California native went from relatively unknown to the next big thing on rap’s hottest label. Recorded prior to signing with T.D.E., the project features Reason holding all forty-five minutes on his own. Still, Reason manages to capture your attention early on and never let go. Standout tracks include “Summer Up” and “Situations”.
Today, Reason dropped the latest visual from the September 2018 project. His new video for “Colored Dreams” tells the story of one of his most heartfelt records. Watch the full video above and stay tuned for more from the T.D.E. newcomer. As heard on The Joe Budden Podcast, Reason expects to drop another project in 2019 as well.
