Rapsody announces she’s headlining the “A Black Woman Created This Tour” kicking off February 2020.
The Grammy-nominated rap artist revealed the tour with an animated text video shared to social media. Rapsody recently finished the “From The South With Love” tour where she joined headliner Big K.R.I.T. and Domani during the fall of 2019.
Fresh off the release of Eve, an album celebrating Black women, the tour seems to follow the empowering theme. Although it may seem pretty swift to launch another tour, Rapsody maintains a steady work-life balance.
“I don’t get to see my parents as much. That’s a hard balance. At certain points, you just have to say, “I haven’t seen my mom in two weeks, so I’m blocking off this day. This is the day that I’m giving to myself. You have to understand that.” says Rapsody to Def Pen.
The “A Black Woman Created This Tour” kicks off February 4, 2020 in Philadelphia, PA and continues through March 13 with stops in Detroit, MI, Columbus, OH, Houston, TX and more.
