The Atlanta Falcons coaching staff is being poached left and right. First, the 49ers swipe Kyle Shanahan and now the Los Angeles Rams have finally found their offensive coordinator in Matt LaFleur. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the new hire.
With Steve Sarkisian going to Atlanta, Falcons QB coach Matt LaFleur is expected to become Rams offensive coordinator, per sources.

LaFleur spent this past season as the Falcons quarterback coach helping aid the MVP performance of Matt Ryan. Now he will be tasked with trying to get the most out of number 1 overall pick Jared Goff who has been nothing short of disastrous thus far.
LaFleuer joins the Sean McVay regime who was recently named the youngest head coach in the history of the NFL. McVay hired his defensive coordinator Wade Phillips a long time ago but appeared to be willing to wait for his guy in Atlanta. The two coaches worked together in Washington from 2010-2013. McVay is expected to remain the play caller at this time.
