The Oakland Raiders were not done adding to it’s impressive offensive line by re-signing Donald Penn to a two-year deal.
Penn confirmed that he would indeed be staying in Oakland via his Instagram.
Penn who is approaching 33, is now partnered with Kelechi Osemele, who signed a 5-year, $58.5 million with the Raiders right when free agency opened. The Raiders signed Osemele to replace Penn incase he did leave, but now can add extra protection for their franchise Quarterback, Derek Carr.
Penn has started 140 games straight, which is the third longest streak amongst offensive tackles in the league. Now apart of the one of the most experienced offensive lines in the league, Penn looks to successfully protect his Quarterback’s blind side for a third consecutive season.
