As quiet as its kept, Rae Sremmurd has had one of their better years in recent memories. The duo kicked off their 2018 campaign with their single, “Powerglide”. Soon thereafter, the group out of Mississippi released their latest project which came with a three bodies of work. Not to mention, their latest album came with features from Young Thug, Travis Scott, Juicy J and more. More recently, the two have made their voices heard as individuals. Swae Lee has made his way through features on the Creed II soundtrack, Black Panther soundtrack and the latest Spider-Man soundtrack. Not to mention, he made a quick appearance on what could be the song of the year, “Sicko Mode”. Slim Jxmmi has also found similar success collaborating with everyone from Crime Mob to Jhene Aiko. As 2018 comes to a close, Rae Sremmurd looks to put the finishing touches on what has been a great year.
Each of the Rae Sremmurd members has put out their own Christmas record. Swae Lee has released “Christmas At Swae’s” and Slim Jxmmi has released “Nothing For Christmas”. The two are not done this time around. The two have hinted that their fourth studio album will be released in the first quarter of 2019. Not to mention, Swae Lee has hinted at the possibility of a joint album with Donald Glover. In the meantime, enjoy the two new singles off of Ear Drummers Records.
