The Purdue guard has drawn comparisons to shorter point guards who can shoot at amazing clips because of his ability to do just that. He is listed at 6’1″ and 200 pounds which would make him a slightly undersized NBA point guard.
Purdue’s standout star averaged 24.3 points per game this year and was an overall scoring machine for the Boilermakers in his career. His last game in the NCAA was a loss to the Virginia Cavaliers in the Elite Eight of the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

The standout Purdue guard will provide a talented shooter for an NBA team. He did not chip in many rebounds or assists for Purdue, but he is a capable passer and could improve in that area as he progresses.
The 2019 NCAA Tournament run by the guard was outstanding and set a few records in the process before the Cavaliers ended the journey. The run was compared to the one Stephen Curry made with the Davidson Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament.

The guard has begun his journey to a pro basketball career and he will need to work hard to impress NBA teams. Edwards stock could go as high as a late first round pick or an early second round pick. It will depend on what teams see from him and what they feel they need on their roster.
