Post Malone will return this summer. On Wednesday afternoon, his co-manager, Dre London, revealed that Post Malone’s next full-length project will drop in May.
“Post Malone album coming next month,” he wrote.
He has not shared a track list for the project, but Billboard reports that the new album will be called twelve carat toothache and it will be around 45 minutes in total. Adding on, Post Malone released the project’s lead single, “One Right Now” featuring The Weeknd, earlier this year.
This is the longest layoff that Post Malone has had in his young career. Previously, he took a 16-month break in between his first and second albums and he enjoyed a 17-month break in between sophomore and junior albums. Now, he will look to return after being away for nearly three years. If this project connects with fans in the same way that Hollywood’s Bleeding did, he will have a major summer run.
twelve carat toothache will serve as the follow-up to his sophomore album, Hollywood’s Bleeding. The project went platinum, earned several Grammy nominations and included multiple number one hits.
In May, Post Malone will look to duplicate the success of Hollywood’s Bleeding. Stay tuned for more information.
