Nicki Minaj is expected to sit down with Stephen Colbert of The Late Show on Wednesday, December 6. Minaj will chop it up with Colbert about her career, forthcoming album and much more before Sara Bareilles steps in as a special guest and performer later on.
Minaj’s guest appearance is set to occur two days before the release of her fifth studio album, Pink Friday II. Building upon the success of the first installment of the Pink Friday series in 2010, the New York native promises the sequel is “one of the greatest albums of all time.”
“It just dawned on me. I am about to release one of the greatest albums of all time,” she tweeted on November 27.
“This album is beyond anything I could have imagined,” she added two days later.
Nicki Minaj is preparing to deliver her first album in more than five years. Since the release of Queen, she’s managed to make her presence felt through headlining performances at the VMAs, collaborations with the likes of Lil’ Baby and NBA Youngboy and guest verses on tracks with Coi Leray, Ice Spice and others. Not to mention, “Super Freaky Girl” topped the charts last August.
