“Oh yes, fractions warned. [‘Super Freaky Girl’] did what fractions warned. ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’ mothered so hard [and] is now the standard. [My fifth album] is the best thing that will come out of 2023 [and] will raise the bar to new [and] unreachable heights. [My] tour will be hailed as ‘genius.’ That’s it [and] that’s all,” she tweeted.
As Nicki Minaj referenced in her tweets, she has found success with her last two solo singles — “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” “Super Freaky Girl” shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and earned a spot in her performance at the 2022 MTV Video and Music Awards. More recently, the Lumidee-inspired “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” has become a viral hit and sparked remixes from the likes of Billy B and Deetranada. Not to be forgotten, she’s also collaborated with Lil’ Baby, Fivio Foreign, Ice Spice and NBA Youngboy over the last year and change.
It’s unclear when Nicki Minaj will release her next fan base, but it does appear that she plans to deliver new music before the end of the year. With that in mind, her loyal fan base will be patiently waiting.
